Ryan parsons, Associate

Ryan Parsons joined Palmer Kazanjian as an associate attorney in 2025. He defends and advises employers on a variety of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Mr. Parsons also advises on complex business transactions and general corporate matters, including federal and state compliance as well as contract drafting and development.

Prior to becoming an associate, Mr. Parsons served in prosecutorial roles with local and the federal government. As a certified law student with the United States Attorney’s Office, Mr. Parsons handled and tried several federal criminal cases, gaining extensive litigation experience. Over the years, Mr. Parsons has amassed hundreds of pro bono hours in service of various government entities. During law school, Mr. Parsons was an Executive Editor and editorial board member of the UC Davis Law Review, on the editorial staff for the UC Davis Business Law Journal, and a graduate research assistant for Professor Amelia Miazad on multiple nationally published corporate governance-focused articles. He was a three-time recipient of the Cruz Reynoso Academic Excellence Award for receiving the highest grade in various corporate law-focused courses. Outside of law school, Mr. Parsons spent several years working for a Silicon Valley tech startup where he gained valuable experience that he uses in practice to develop and advise clients on efficient business strategies that balance pure legal compliance with the realities of small business growth, development, and governance.

Mr. Parsons graduated from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, receiving the Public Service Law Certificate and Pro Bono Certificate for his academic achievements and extracurricular service. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Economics from Boston College.
