Casey Blanas, Associate
Casey Blanas joined Palmer Kazanjian as an associate attorney in 2018. She provides advice to clients—from small businesses to nationwide corporations to the public sector—regarding employee and personnel matters as well as union relations. She brings with her a background preparing comprehensive written agreements for clients in various contexts. She has multiple years of experience with contested litigation, from handling complex discovery to drafting forceful and compelling motions.
Having served as a judicial clerk in multiple courts, including as an extern for the Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court, Ms. Blanas brings unique and invaluable perspective regarding how to reach and persuade a judge. She understands written submissions often have the greatest impact when a complex legal question is before the court; she is a proficient legal researcher and writer who can advance a client’s case with poignant written argument. She has also argued in courts throughout California.
Ms. Blanas graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2012, on the Dean’s Honor List, a member of the Traynor Honor Society, and Order of the Coif. She was a writer and editor for the Global Business and Development Law Journal and competed with the moot court team, winning a competition award for brief writing. She was a member of the moot court honors board and continues to volunteer as an alumni coach for the moot court program. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and minor in Philosophy from Humboldt State University.
Ms. Blanas is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada.
