Topic: The Nuts and Bolts of Workplace Investigations

Date: Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022

Time: 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

Under both federal and California law, employers are obligated to take immediate steps when an employee raises a conflict or concern relating to the workplace. Employers are required by law to efficiently investigate complaints and to begin timely workplace investigations of an employee’s alleged complaint. Examples of potential complaints that may arise in the workplace involve discrimination, harassment, retaliation, safety, and ethical concerns. Additionally, employers should take action and corrective remedial measures to ensure illegal behaviors, actions, and conduct are handled appropriately. Please join partner, Alexandra Asterlin, on Tuesday March 22nd at 11 a.m. as she helps us understand what workplace investigations are, how to appropriately handle workplace investigations, and tips on ensuring a safe work environment.
